Frequently asked questions

Switching from Jobber? These are the questions contractors ask before they sign up.

Does Celerora have everything Jobber has?
Different tradeoffs at different price points. Celerora bundles AI Lead Responder, AI Quote Generator, two-way SMS, customer reminders, and no-show protection into both Solo ($69/mo) and Small Team ($149/mo). Jobber gates these features by tier: AI chat is in Plus only ($529+/mo, 15-user team tier), two-way SMS starts at Grow ($149+/mo annual individual, $299+/mo annual team), one-way reminders start at Connect ($99+/mo annual individual). Jobber doesn't have an AI Quote Generator at all. Where Jobber beats us: voice AI / phone receptionist (Receptionist add-on $99/mo at all tiers; bundled in Plus), QuickBooks integration, job costing, and crews of 6+ dispatch on Grow / Plus tiers ($299-529/mo annual team). If you need voice AI, pair Celerora with Smith.ai (~$280/mo) — total cost is still well below Jobber Plus. If you're running a 10+ technician operation, Jobber Grow or ServiceTitan are better fits.
How much would I actually save switching from Jobber?
Depends on your team size, billing cadence, and how much customer payment volume you route through Jobber. The apples-to-apples comparison for Celerora Small Team (5 seats) is Jobber Team Connect at 5 users — $199/mo monthly or $149/mo annual after a 12-month promo. For a 5-person shop doing $5K/month in customer payments through Jobber: monthly-to-monthly that's $4,173/year ($2,388 Jobber subscription + $1,785 in 2.9% + $0.30 payment fees) vs $1,788/year for Celerora monthly — saving $2,385/year. Annual-to-annual it's $3,573/year on Jobber vs $1,490/year on Celerora (pay-for-10-get-12) — saving $2,083/year. Either way the savings clear $2,000/year. Use the savings calculator above to plug in your actual numbers.
Can I migrate my Jobber data to Celerora?
Jobber lets you export customers, services, and historical jobs as CSV from Settings → Account → Data Export. Celerora's self-serve CSV bulk import is in development; for early launch, email support@celerora.com with your Jobber CSV and we'll import it manually within a business day. Bookings already on Jobber's calendar stay there until you confirm them on Celerora's side. Most contractors run both side-by-side for 30 days, then cancel Jobber once Celerora is live with all customers.
What about Jobber's payment processing?
This is where Celerora is structurally different. Jobber processes customer payments through their integrated Stripe and takes 2.9% + $0.30 on every credit/debit transaction (2.7% on tap-to-pay, 1% on ACH) — on top of your subscription. Celerora doesn't process customer payments at all. Your customer pays you directly the way you already collect today (Stripe, Square, Venmo, Zelle, cash, check, card-swipe — whatever you use). Celerora's only Stripe touchpoint is your monthly subscription and optional no-show deposits. We never sit in your customer payment flow, so there's nothing to take a cut from. For a shop doing $50K/year in routed customer payments, that's about $1,450/year in fees Jobber takes that Celerora doesn't.
What if I outgrow Celerora?
You get a graceful goodbye, not an upsell. Celerora targets 1–5 person service businesses and we don't have a Growth or Enterprise tier — we're not building one. Shops that scale past 5 seats are a different kind of customer with different needs. If your team grows past that point, we'll help you export everything and recommend Jobber Grow or ServiceTitan based on your operation. Honest scope is part of the deal.
Is Celerora a real company? How long have you been around?
Celerora LLC is a bootstrapped, single-founder company based in Amarillo, Texas, formed in 2026. There are no outside investors and no exit timeline — we're built to run as a profitable lifestyle SaaS for the long term. Bootstrapped means slower feature shipping than a VC-funded competitor, but it also means no pressure to flip to enterprise customers, no acquisition-then-shutdown risk, and no surprise price hikes from a new owner. Our manifesto promises you 60 days' notice before any price change and you can export everything before the new rate takes effect — same as we promise on day one.
